Mardi Gras:My Recipe for Light Beignets for Less than 3 Euros.

- 1 teaspoon of salt

- 1 tablespoon of sugar

- 1/4 liter of water

How to

Mardi Gras:My Recipe for Light Beignets for Less than 3 Euros.

Preparation: 15 mins

1. In a large saucepan, boil the water with the salt, sugar, butter, cinnamon and lemon zest.

2. Then add the flour to the preparation and stir vigorously until the dough comes away from the pan when you grasp it with a spatula.

3. Incorporate 1 whole egg into the donut batter then add the other 3 one by one while continuing to mix with conviction.

4. Once all these steps have been completed, heat the oil then form small donut balls using a spoon (or by hand, it's even more practical).

5. All that remains is to dip them gently in the oil so as not to burn themselves, they will come outultra crispy !

My bonus tip

I got into the habit of pouring my tasty donuts into a paper towel to wipe off excess oil before enjoying them.

This simple and practical gesture allows me to avoid consuming the excess fat that drains after cooking.

It's always that less for my buttocks. This trick also works when I cook bacon or before serving fries...

Savings achieved

The ingredients I use to cook Crispy Donuts are really cheap.

Just rummage around in your kitchen to easily find butter, salt, sugar or even flour!

This low-calorie recipe also turns out to be an excellent recipe for a treat at a low price.

You will spend no more than €3 to please young and old alike!
