What to do with Leftover Meat? My Original Recipe.

Rather than throw away the fat from your meat, cook it with onion, steak and herbs. You will get a stuffing that is as delicious as it is economical!

If, like me, you have foodies at home who are reluctant to swallow the slightest bit of fat, or if you yourself are one of those who turn your nose up at a piece of meat that is a little too white, you will love my trick for accommodating all those leftover meats.

Before cooking my meat, I sort everything out. I track down the smallest bit of fat, I gather all the pieces thus eliminated, which I keep in the freezer.

Once I have gathered enough meat, I cook everything with an onion, herbs de provence and a clove of garlic. I add a minced steak (or more depending on the amount of "bad" meat!), an egg, a few slices of bread soaked in milk, salt and pepper, and I mix.

This delicious and economical stuffing will then be used to garnish tomatoes, zucchini or peppers, make a shepherd's pie or a meat pie... I enjoy it every time :-).

Savings

Ready-made stuffing is often expensive. Here, you just use your leftovers, which would have gone in the trash! It's hard to find a more economical recipe...

All you have to do is buy vegetables to have delicious stuffed tomatoes or zucchini, which you can also take perfectly the next day at noon to eat at the office!
