Chlorine in Tap Water:Eliminate Taste in 15 min.

If it weren't for that unpleasant smell of chlorine but necessary, that would be perfect. With a minimum of patience and my little trick, it disappears quickly, however.

If you live in a tourist region, you may have noticed that tap water smells a lot of chlorine during school holidays.

Since it is an exterminator of bacteria, these Gentlemen and Ladies of the Waterworks must anticipate the flood of new consumers of blue gold with this chemical element.

It looks a bit like a Gallic magic potion:there are sometimes abuses, and our noses let us know. Impossible to drink this water, however so fresh, straight out of the cow's udder... what am I saying, from the spout of the tap, without stopping your nose.

We are not going to let ourselves be dismantled. Here are some tips for getting rid of the chlorine smell.

- Fill one or two or three filter jugs or not, depending on the consumption of your household. Empty plastic bottles of your favorite drink will do just as well. (Filter jugs do not filter the smell of chlorine!)

- At room temperature or in the refrigerator, after 15 to 30 minutes, the nasty smell of chlorine evaporates, leaving the containers open , without caps or lids!

- If you are in a hurry, play with the palette of aromas :slices of lemon, orange, fresh mint leaves, drops of orange blossom, ... They will mask the taste and smell of chlorine and you can drink your tap water.
