Barbecued Mushroom Skewers:How to Make It Every Time.

To cook mushrooms on the barbecue, there is a very simple little trick, which prevents them from drying out. Oil is your best ally!

The return of sunny days makes you want to barbecue? Me too ! And since I'm not a big fan of meat, I love adding vegetables to my skewers. Zucchini, tomatoes or mushrooms, anything goes. But the big disadvantage of barbecuing mushrooms is that they dry out very quickly. Within minutes they become shriveled and lose their flavor.

The trick to prevent this from happening is to coat them with oil before putting them on the barbecue. By following this step, which will allow your mushrooms to remain tender and keep their antioxidant properties, you will have beautiful, juicy skewers. And don't worry, your mushrooms won't be full of oil!

Savings Achieved

Vegetable skewers save money on barbecues with friends. Because meat is all well and good (and good!), but it quickly gets expensive! By alternating pieces of meat and diced vegetables, you will offer delicious skewers to your friends while realizing real savings.

And thanks to this recipe, no one will make their nose in front of all dried up mushrooms, which will remain on the edge of the plate!
