How to

1. Sweeten the top of each jar of cream.

2. Pour a few drops of alcohol on it. For example Grand Marnier.

3. Light a match.

4. Flambé the alcohol you have just poured over the cream.

5. Watch the caramelization closely and blow out the flames when you find it's done enough for your liking.

Result

And There you go ! You have made a creme brulee without a torch. :-)

Your cream is caramelized like a pro thanks to the flambé alcohol. And in addition, it gives a little special taste.

This recipe works even better if you have taken care to heat the alcohol before putting it on the creams.
