Fortunately, there is a simple trick to get rid of dust and even pesticides without damaging them.
The trick is to sprinkle the strawberries with lemon juice. Watch:
1. Put your strawberries in a large colander.
2. Sprinkle them with lemon water or pure lemon juice.
3. You don't even need to rinse them, you can enjoy them right away.
And There you go ! You cleaned your strawberries the most naturally in the world without spoiling the taste :-)
You should also know that you never remove the stems from the strawberries before washing them. Why?
Because otherwise you risk waterlogging them and therefore making them less tasty.

Strawberries keep very poorly. If you won't eat them right after picking or buying them, prepare them as a salad.
Cut the strawberries into 4 in a salad bowl. Add a few mint leaves and a little sugar. Sprinkle with lemon juice. Cover the bowl and chill.
You can eat your salad the next day without any problem!
