The website Delish pulled the secret out of Starbucks' Global Coffee Engagement Specialist. Make coffee, but with half as much water as you would normally use. You'll be adding ice to your coffee later. The ice melts, making the coffee less flavorful. If you use the same amount of water as for regular coffee, your iced coffee will quickly become too weak.
