Scrambled eggs at Easter breakfast

Make scrambled eggs for breakfast. We have a handy basic recipe, which you can use to vary widely.

The basics Beat the eggs in a bowl and add salt and pepper to taste. Put butter or oil in a frying pan and pour in the egg mixture as soon as it is well heated. Stir with a wooden trowel until the egg is almost set. Remove the pan from the heat, but let the egg heat in it for a while, so that the eggs remain soft.

For the variation
You can combine scrambled eggs with different ingredients and spices. For example, when the eggs are almost ready, throw some goat cheese and tomato into the pan. Also tasty:salmon or bacon.
