5 ingredients to add good fats to your diet

The time when all alarm bells ring when we hear the word fat is long gone. Your body needs fat, especially the 'good' unsaturated fats.

These ingredients are high in healthy fats:

Avocado

Coconut oil
Different oils are good for you. Coconut oil helps your body get energy from food and is good for your metabolism. The oil can also be heated.

Fish Fatty fish such as mackerel, eel and salmon are one of the best sources of omega-3. Preferably choose the wild variety. Good for the recovery of, for example, inflammation and tissue.

Nuts
Unsalted nuts are a source of vitamins, minerals and omega. A handful of almonds or macadamia nuts are therefore an ideal snack.

Seeds
In the morning, feel free to throw a little linseed, chia seed or pepitas through your breakfast.
