How long can you keep white wine?

Usually that bottle of wine runs out. If not:this is how (long) you can store white wine.

White wines that you buy in the supermarket or in the wine trade around the price of 3 to 10 euros are almost never intended to be kept longer. They are ready to drink and intended to be consumed within one to two years.

How long can you keep an opened bottle of wine?
Once the bottle is opened, the taste deteriorates quickly. As soon as air gets to the wine, an oxidation process starts and that does not benefit the taste. How quickly the taste deteriorates differs per wine. A wine with bubbles often loses flavor within a day, while sweet wine is usually slightly more resistant to aging. Use your senses to judge whether the wine is still good.

How to store the bottle
Put the bottle in the fridge to slow down the oxidation process. The less air gets to the wine, the longer it will stay good. There are also special vacuum caps that allow you to remove the air from the bottle.
