5 tips for the best chocolate fondue

5 tips for the best chocolate fondue

A very easy dessert.

1. Making chocolate fondue:first choose the type of chocolate

In principle, any type of chocolate is suitable. Choose milk, white or pure depending on your taste. Add a cup of whipped cream to a large bar. There is special melting chocolate. In that case, read on the label whether whipped cream still needs to be added.

2. Melt the chocolate

You can melt chocolate in different ways. Melt the chocolate au bain marie, in a pan while stirring or in the microwave. Add about a cup of whipped cream to a large bar of chocolate. If you don't want to make the chocolate too creamy, add less.

3. Keep the chocolate creamy

It doesn't take a lot of heat to keep chocolate melted. Set an electric fondue on a low setting. Do you use a tea light to keep the chocolate warm? Stir occasionally to prevent the bottom layer from burning.

4. Vary with the chocolate fondue

Vary your chocolate fondue by using different types of chocolate or by adding a dash of liqueur.

5. The ingredients for the chocolate fondue

Combine classics with original ingredients for dipping in the chocolate:different fruits, biscuits, lady fingers, marshmellows, cream puffs, mini donuts and nuts.

Or opt for a chocolate fountain instead of a chocolate fondue.
