Make your move

First, choose a tasty lettuce. Go for arugula if you like it a little spicier, (raw) baby spinach for a soft green and mild taste or iceberg lettuce if you prefer the crunch are. Or go crazy and replace the lettuce with cucumber. Just as green, just as healthy.

Bringing home a whole watermelon – hello, panniers! – and cutting immediately means that you can tick off your daily workout, but luckily you can also score half a copy or individual parts at many supermarkets or the greengrocer. Feta Fiesta

If you eat alone, you don't need much more than 70 grams of feta cheese. Not a fan of feta? You can replace it with ricotta or goat cheese. And for the vegans among us, there is even a completely plant-based 'cheese' on the market. Throw your cubes with the watermelon pieces into the lettuce and mix it up.

Finishing touch

To let the flavors come out better and add some 'ooee, nice!' to the whole, you can chop a sprig of fresh mint and divide it over the salad.
