Recipe:pizza bianca with pear and honey

Were you actually planning to go on holiday to Italy, but would you rather stay at home? Bring Italy into your home with this delicious pizza bianca with pear, mozzarella and honey.

You immediately imagine yourself in an Italian atmosphere. The Pulled Oats give the pizza a nice firm bite. Buon appetito!

Ingredients

For 4 people

Dough

  • 25 g fresh yeast
  • 200 ml of water
  • 3 tbsp oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • About 5 dl wheat or pizza flour

Topping

  • 1 pack Pulled Oats® Natural
  • 2 dl crème frache
  • 3-4 pears
  • 2-3 mozzarella balls
  • Fresh rosemary
  • Honey or agave syrup
  • Black pepper

Preparation method

  • Preheat the oven to 250°C.
  • Crumble the yeast in a bowl with lukewarm water and stir until the yeast has dissolved. Gradually add salt, sugar and flour. Knead the dough until it is soft and elastic. Add the oil. Cover the dough with a wet cloth and set aside for 30-60 minutes to rise.
  • Wash the pears and cut into thin slices. Dust your work surface with a little flour so that the pizza dough doesn't stick to it. Make a thin pizza base with a rolling pin.
  • Spread the crème frache over the center of the dough. Spread the pizza evenly with the pear slices, Pulled Oats and mozzarella slices. Drizzle with honey, rosemary and black pepper. Bake the pizza in the oven for 10 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown.

Hint: bake a crispy pizza by first heating an empty baking tray in the oven. Then bake the pizza base in the oven for 5 minutes before topping it.
