Banana bread with chocolate, enjoy!

Banana bread is not unknown to us. I made banana bread even before I had a slow cooker, just in the oven, but now I also make it in the slow cooker. But I've never had a banana bread with chocolate before. The recipe comes via Sabine Teurlings and she made this banana bread in the slow cooker. If you prefer to make it in the oven, you can simply follow the recipe for preparation as indicated below. Instead of making it into a slow cooker recipe, put it in the oven at 180° for about 50 minutes. Check in between to be sure with a skewer if it is already good.

Recipe banana bread with chocolate

This chocolate banana board recipe is a wonderfully easy recipe. Can be made in the slow cooker or oven. Below you can read the recipe in the slow cooker as Sabine made it. Above I already indicated how long it should take in the oven.

Ingredients for this banana-bread

  • Pack of Koopmans banana bread
  • 4 bananas
  • 4 turkey eggs (or 5 large chicken eggs)
  • 125 grams of chocolate flakes
  • 125 grams of margarine

How to make this banana-bread recipe with chocolate in the slow-cooker

  • Mix the butter until smooth (if it's at room temperature, that's easier)
  • Mash the bananas and add them
  • Add the pack of Koopmans and the eggs (without shell of course 😉 )
  • Mix everything together on the lowest setting for about 1 minute
  • Add the chocolate flakes and stir through
  • Put baking paper in your slow cooker so that the banana bread with chocolate comes out easily
  • Tea towel under the lid
  • 2 hours on high and 2 hours on low (with my own banana bread in the slow cooker I do about 3.5 hours on low, try out what suits your slow cooker)
  • Check with a skewer whether the banana bread is cooked
  • Enjoy!

For a change, you can also add a (large) handful of nuts to this banana bread with chocolate flakes. Nuts and chocolate is an excellent combination right?!
