Make your own galette des rois

This year you do not want to queue at your bakery? You also don't want to spend a small fortune on a pancake that will be devoured in 5 minutes? How about making your own frangipane galette des rois! Thanks to the recipe signed

For 6 people, you will need:

– 2 puff pastry

– 140g ground almonds

– 70g softened or soft butter

– 2 eggs

– 1 egg yolk

– 100g fine sugar

– 1 bean for Junior (or you who knows)

Preheat your oven to 200°C (thermostat 6-7)

In a pie dish, place a puff pastry that you prick with a fork.

In a salad bowl, mix the sugar, the butter, the ground almonds and the two eggs.

After obtaining a dough, spread it on the puff pastry and place your bean.

Cover with the second puff pastry.

Using a knife, draw shapes on top of your galette and brush with the egg yolk.

Bake for 20 to 30 minutes, checking regularly for doneness.
