The Raindrop Cake, a new culinary UFO

This strange cake also called "Mizu Shingen Mochi" arouses curiosity and envy by its allure all in transparency and roundness as by its taste promises. Simply composed of mineral water, sugar and agar-agar that we accompany with grilled soy powder and sometimes a syrup, this candy promises to be a drop of light and refreshing rain for our mouths. The little extra? It is calorie-free, and will therefore delight gourmets who prefer to watch their line.

Already available in the United States thanks to New York chef Darren Wong, if you're passing through the city that never sleeps, head to the Smorgasburg market in Brooklyn, the only place to find it.

Foodies can be reassured:its arrival in Europe should not be long, and we are looking forward to enjoying a super light and refreshing dessert. Perfect, before summer arrives!
