In London, architects have created a miniature gingerbread city

London architects have created an entirely edible miniature city. On the menu (so to speak huh, no question of destroying this titanic work!):houses, buildings, gingerbread monuments, candy cane alleys and a whole bunch of details created from dishes delicious. We are already in awe when we see a single gingerbread house, then an entire city... Wow!

More than sixty architects worked on the exhibition

Around sixty architectural firms have pitched in to build Gingerbread City. And they didn't do things by halves. Opera, train station, place of worship, neighborhoods each with their own architecture… The creators of the gingerbread town went into detail! And beyond being a feast for the eyes, the project aims to make people think about the elements that make up a pleasant city. Architects want to inspire people to think a little more about where they live and work. How do they feel about it? How should a city function? What should it contain? A magical and thought-provoking exhibition, it's a pretty cool concept, isn't it? For those interested, it is on view at the Museum of Architecture in London until December 22, 2016. Quick, quick!
