Émile Noël, vegetable oils that combine indulgence and well-being!

Located in Pont Saint-Esprit in the Gard, the Émile Noël oil mill is a family business that will soon celebrate its centenary. Today it is his great-grandson, David Garnier, who has taken over the company, bringing with him many innovations. The big news? Health and nutrition oils ideal for combining pleasure and well-being! “We are committed to developing oils that are good for your health while retaining interesting nutritional properties,” explains Marlène Bonnard, communications officer for the company, which has 80 employees. Among them, the organic and vegan DHA+ cocktail oil, source of omega 3 and rich in fatty acids.

“DHA (docosahexaenoic acid), contributes to the normal functioning of the brain and is mainly found in fish oil but also in certain algae. We have chosen to extract it from seaweed so that our oil is suitable for vegetarians. Its very slightly iodized taste is ideal to accompany fish ceviche, salad of raw vegetables or toast with mango avocado tartare.

Among the other "healthy" oils offered by the brand, we find omega 3-6-9 oil which is a mixture of rapeseed, hazelnut and oleic sunflower oil, blue poppy and walnut, very rich in fatty acids, but also omega 3 and 6 oil which combines hemp, sunflower and camelina oil, which was voted best organic product 2019. This oil with a herbaceous taste and fresh peas goes just as well with risottos of peas as with pink latte, a drink packed with vitamins! "All these oils are eaten raw, cooking them would lose their nutritional qualities", warns Marlène Bonnard.

100% organic oils and fair trade chains

Seed oils, fruit oils, gourmet oils... Although the range of oils has diversified since the first oils produced in the old oil mill by Emile Noël, the heirs of the company have been able to keep the values that are theirs. dear, respect people and their environment. “We were the first certified organic oil mill in France. Since the creation of the company, quality has been at the heart of our developments, assures Marlène Bonnard. In order to offer the best products, we bring our raw material from around twenty countries and we maintain long-lasting and lasting relationships with our producers. Many of our sectors are also labeled fair trade. Today the company has nearly 200 organic references, making it the French leader.
