Bolognese pizza from Cyril Lignac:his original recipe, melting and absolutely delicious ("It is unanimous!")

Oh the pizza! Tasty and quick to make , it is the perfect dish to bring family and friends together for a meal. The proof of the pizza evenings have become, for many, a little sacred ritual to have a good time, especially on lazy evenings. In general, everyone has a particular pizza that makes them salivate:margherita, napolitana, calzone, 4 cheeses... It's simple, these classic pizzas Italian cuisine you can't get enough of it. Chef Cyril Lignac knows something about it since he shared in his show "Tous en cuisine" on M6 his own recipe, to say the least original, of bolognese rolled pizza . Tested and approved by the chef's fans!

Cyril Lignac's Bolognese Rolled Pizza Recipe

Preparation time:20 minutes.
Cooking time:15 minutes.

To make the Cyril Lignac-style bolognese pizza you need :

  • 1 rectangular pizza dough roll
  • 3 balls of mozzarella
  • 1 egg
  • A handful of basil leaves
  • 1/2 teaspoon powdered Espelette pepper
  • 400 g minced beef
  • 300 g of tomato coulis
  • 1 onion
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 1/2 carrot
  • 1 piece of celeriac
  • Olive oil
  • Salt and pepper

Preparation steps:

  1. In a saucepan, sauté the chopped onion and the diced carrots and celery in a little olive oil.
  2. Add the minced meat, salt and pepper then add the minced garlic and the chopped basil leaves.
  3. Cook and caramelize everything for 10 minutes, before pouring in the tomato sauce.
  4. Simmer over very low heat and set aside.
  5. Preheat the oven to 250°C.
  6. On a work surface, roll out the pizza dough then cut it into 4 equal strips.
  7. Lay the finely cut mozzarella and bolognese sauce on the strips of dough.
  8. Fold down the sides of each strip, then gently pinch the edges from top to bottom. You need to get some kind of sausages.
  9. In a buttered round mould, place the stuffed puddings one after the other, pinched side inwards. The shape should be round like a pizza. Coat them with egg yolk.
  10. Bake everything in the oven for 10-15 minutes.
  11. Once cooked, brush the pizza with a little olive oil, Espelette pepper and basil leaves.
