Cookies from Cyril Lignac:an ultra-gourmet recipe that is very easy to make

Easy to cook, delicious, comforting... We never do without cookies ! To satisfy a little sweet craving, to bring to a brunch with friends, to enjoy a romantic comedy, this little cake is the solution to all our problems. This is also why we cook it on all occasions and why we love testing new recipes (Have you tried the microwave cookie recipe? We recommend it!). From then on, when we discovered that our favorite Cyril Lignac, the one who re-taught us cooking during the year 2020, set up a recipe for double chocolate cookies , we couldn't resist!

The Plisson House , a quality delicatessen and general food store in Paris, unveiled Cyril Lignac's recipe for cookies with two chocolates on its Instagram account. A version that we hasten to test! And for those who don't want to go behind the stove, the grocery store's e-shop offers a kit to make this recipe in no time.

Here's how to make Cyril Lignac's cookies with two chocolates!

Preparation time:20 minutes
Standing time:30 minutes
Cooking time:10 minutes

For 20 cookies, you will need:

  • 190g milk chocolate
  • 190g dark chocolate
  • 120g brown sugar
  • 120 g caster sugar
  • 300g flour
  • 6g baking powder
  • 175 g soft unsalted butter
  • 1 egg

The preparation steps:

  1. Take the butter out of the fridge ahead of time to soften it. Finely chop the chocolates with a knife, set aside.
  2. In a bowl, pour the two sugars, the flour and the baking powder, then add the soft butter cut into cubes, then the egg, mix and incorporate the chocolates.
  3. On a sheet of silicone or parchment paper, form a sausage of dough 5 cm in diameter.
  4. Sprinkle with a little flour to prevent the dough from sticking to the paper and your fingers. Leave to rest for 30 minutes in the fridge.
  5. Preheat the oven to 170°C. Take the cookie dough out of the fridge. Cut slices about 2.5 cm thick. Place the cookies spaced apart on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 10 minutes.
  6. Taste warm or cold.

Tip:if you want to divide the proportions in half (because that makes too many cookies), beat the egg and keep half for the cookies. The remaining half you can add to an omelet.
