5 different potato salads

Nothing beats a really good potato salad as a side dish to a tasty barbecue. You can vary endlessly with potato salads and they can easily be adapted to what you like or what it is served for. Rinse the potatoes in cold water before boiling them in lightly salted water. A good tip to check if the potatoes are cooked is to insert a small sharp knife into the potato and lift it out of the water. If the potatoes slide off the blade slowly, they are cooked and you can pour off the water. The easiest way to peel the potatoes is when they are still lukewarm. Let the potatoes cool completely before dividing them into pieces and toss with the dressing. Feel free to leave the potato salad and soak in a little flavor before serving.
