Peach compote with vanilla

  • peaches
    1 kg
  • sugar
    200 g
  • vanilla
    1 pod
  • water
    1 glass

Cut the peaches in half and remove the pits.

Immerse the 1/2 fruit for a few seconds in boiling water to peel them more easily.

Boil the water, sugar, split vanilla pod.

Add the peaches as soon as they boil. Cook gently with a lid on, making sure the peaches remain whole.

After 120 minutes, remove the fruit, put them in a compote.

Reduce the syrup. Cover the fruit.
